Editor, E. E. (Ed.). (Year). Title of book. Publisher.

 

If more than one editor, include all the names and add "(Eds.)". Ex.: 

Editor, E. E., Editor, F. F., Editor, G. G., Editor, H. H. (Eds.). (Year). Title of book. Publisher. 

 

Author & Editor

Author, A. A. (Year). Title of book. (E. Editor, Ed.). Publisher.

 

Chapter in an edited book

One author, one editor: 

 

Author, A. (Year). Title of chapter. In E. Editor (Ed.), Title of book (pp. pages of chapter). Publisher.

 

Multiple authors, editors: 

 

Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of chapter. In E. E. Editor & F. F. Editor (Eds.), Title of book (pp. pages of chapter). Publisher.

 

Enter "pp" before the page numbers. Ex.: (pp. 276-290). 

 

In-text citation

No author

More than one editor: (Editor et al., Year)

Chapter in an edited book

(Author, Year, p. page)

For multiple authors, use "Author et al." as you would for citing books with multiple authors. Ex.:

(Author et al., Year, p. page)

 

For in-text citations, enter "p" (not "pp") before the page numbers. Ex.: (Lavinsky, 1995, p. 231-254)
