(Online) Entry with one author

Author, A. A. (n.d.). Entry. In Title of dictionary/encyclopedia. Publisher. Retrieved month day, year, from URL

 

Entry with no individual author (use group author, association, etc.)

If the group or association name is the same as that of the publisher, do not include a publisher. 

Online entry:

Association Name. (n.d.). Entry. In Title of dictionary or encyclopedia. Retrieved month day, year, from URL

Print entry:

Association Name. (Year). Entry. In Title of dictionary or encyclopedia (edition, p. page).

Ex.: American Psychological Association. (2015). Mood induction. In APA dictionary of psychology (2nd ed., p. 667).

In-text citation

Entry with one author

(Author, n.d.)

 

Entry with no individual author (use group author or association)

(Association, n.d.)
